A form of contractual agreement between students, parents and schools should be established to address the problem of bullying in schools, especially at a boarding school.

The contract was signed by students and parents to comply with school rules and are willing to accept a fixed penalty if found guilty of violating school regulations have been enacted.

Malaysian Psychology Association president Prof. Datin Dr. Noran Fauziah Yaakob said, such regulations have been implemented in developed countries and managed to reduce the problem.

Each student signed a contract is mandatory at the beginning of the year or beginning of the session.

However he wants the school to be firm in implementing the zero tolerance approach to students or parents of students involved.

`` If there is a compromise meant that the rules have no meaning and no need to be implemented,''he said, was to study the symptoms of bullying among students in primary and secondary schools in the country.

Noran Fauziah Clearly, addressing the problem of bullying not by way of tolerance, but it must be stressed, as studies show they are involved in this case potentially involved in criminal activity in adulthood.

He said studies showed that they engaged in bullying during the school eventually becomes an adult who is involved in criminal cases, raping and torturing his wife.

`` What we do is to save students from these tended to act when they grow up,''he said.

Asked about incidents of bullying are common in boarding schools, he said, it really has become a culture among students in such schools.

He was responding to incidents of bullying against Muhammad Afiq Qusyairi Baharuddin, 13, students from Islamic schools Padang Tengku, Kuala Lipis, Pahang.

However, he stressed, the school should serve to warn the students about the outcome of the activities involved in bullying.

`` Why did the school often remind their students due to bullying their colleagues or junior students,''he said.

In fact, he also questioned the process of monitoring the school to students in boarding schools so that a student may be involved in gangsterism.

`` Typically, students involved in gangs are students from ordinary schools, thus arises the question mark how boarding schools can be involved with this group,''he said.

Meanwhile, he said, in a study of the phenomenon of bullying in the boarding school involving senior students who want to show the power of the junior students.

`` Students will be senior junior students as young as the instruction of senior students to wash clothes, wash the bathroom, get food or take food to them,''he said.

Physical bullying occurs when students refused to obey junior senior students.

At the same time his research showed that students who like to bully other students, especially physical bullying is because like fun.

Another factor is that they encourage bullying is intentionally fun to see other students suffer due to their actions.

In fact, bullying is done by students who do not excel in academics as envy-driven attitude towards students who excel.
