Bullying: Police will meet the Department of Education

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 March : Police will hold a meeting with the Education Department in the near future to discuss the problem of bullying among students reported by the media a lot lately.

Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Mohd. Mohd Bakri. Zinin said the meeting will be held in each district who are expected to help address the symptom.

"We will consult the Department of Education to discuss how and in what form the police and schools to work together to handle the problem of bullying," he said.

He was met at the conference closing ceremony and delivered Polilight Page D10 Kit Forensics and the Forensic Laboratory here today.

On 1 March this year, a Form Four students were injured due to head to the pole dihentak by senior students at a secondary school in Merchang.

Before that, the media exposed a group of courageous action in Mukah school students who signed and include those actions that bullying behavior on another student to YouTube.

Mohd. Bakri said that, in addition, the school also held a meeting with police officers who are appointed as school liaison officers to discuss issues.
